I'm a Catholic Mentee

Matthew 5:14-16 You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.

Mentors are all around us. Here is my testimony to the wonderful people mentoring me on my Catholic authoring journey... specifically Gail Jean Coniglio (@GailConiglio) and Ellen Gable Hrkach (@EllenGable). Both of these professionals have wrapped their arms around me and convinced me my messages are needed in today's world.

Thank you for all your advice. Your invaluable input has put me in a new position to promote myself as an energetic, philanthropic new author and potential speaker. Before I came to you,

• I was lost in how to promote myself.
• I had already written and published 6 spirit-filled books, eBooks, audio, and song stories designed to bring people back to the 

        fullness of the faith in everyday living.

• I spent the better part of two years creating my ministry with limited marketing but quick acceptance.

Gail, the main reason I came to you was for the promotion work you do and the possibility that you thought of me as a worthy new client. With your advice,

• I now have my author website.
• I have a Catholic identity (CATHOLIC MENTEE) and describe myself rather humorously as someone who is happy with myself

        and thankful for all the wonderful people who have shaped and molded me into the person I am today. Much of that input came 

        from my Catholic mentors.

• I have created a new logo for speaking purposes to better identify me as a Catholic speaker.
• I am better positioned to be a CATHOLIC MENTEE with the unique perspective of having paid attention and applied the

        teachings of the church in both my professional and personal life…and can reflect back on how it has turned out.

• I am still positioned to continue to produce spirit filled content to help bring the truth of Jesus Christ to His people…while hopefully

        raising much needed funds for charity.

My future is brighter with you on my team Ellen.

• You have taken me by the hand and showed me exactly how to post on all social media.
• You showed me the value of proof readers...many more than I thought!
• You're patient with my unfamiliarity with certain processes as you guide and therapeutically listen.
• Your guidance in bringing my work to Amazon, Kindle, Audio Books, and more is exciting!

Here is what I have to look forward to this year:

• I now have a robust social media presence and better understand what it takes to promote my writings to the world.
• In 2024 it was suggested that my daughter (Heather Momper) and I should conduct some interviews exploring the beauty of working together to bring God’s kingdom to families.
• We are currently producing another album of music that will lift people’s spirits with much needed themed messages for today’s living…not to mention the glory of the Father/Daughter experience. The release of this album is planned for Q2 2024.
• AND…I am working on my next book to help bring prayer to families (from a lay perspective) called Mentored by Prayer.

All this was in my head but it took two mentors to make it real to the world for me. God Bless you both! Praise be Jesus Christ!
