My Grieving Hand

A Heavenly Way to Find Comfort in Loss

By Keith Lilek (Author)

Have you ever felt lost for words when someone you care about suddenly experiences the devastating loss of a loved one? That uncomfortable feeling of not knowing how to provide comfort or ease their pain—or even your own—is universal.

My Grieving Hand is a compassionate and poetic exploration into navigating these difficult moments. It's your gentle guide through the stages of grief, revealing God's plan to better equip you to mentor anyone in need during their darkest hours.

Who It's For:

My Grieving Hand is an essential resource for:

  • Adults, young parents, and young adults seeking to understand grief and offer support.
  • Christians and mentors looking for heavenly ways to inspire and comfort those suffering.
  • Anyone experiencing loss, offering comfort and perspective when it's needed most.
  • Support groups and funeral directors, serving as a valuable tool for those helping others through bereavement.

This book can also be thoughtfully presented as a "gift card" at funeral homes, offering immediate solace and guidance.

My Hope for the Reader:

My deepest hope is to eliminate the uncomfortable feeling of not knowing what to say or do when comforting someone during times of profound loss. This book expands on the stages of grief, a topic I began exploring in The Sonnets of Laina's Life. To my utter amazement, the five sonnets I had previously written perfectly aligned with the five formal stages of grief—a realization that felt truly divinely inspired!

I've expanded on each stage of grief in this book, designing it more as a pamphlet or "card" that can be gifted to someone experiencing loss. It offers a deeper, more psychological perspective on the grieving process, providing comfort and a clear path forward for both the griever and those who wish to support them.
